IoTeX and TONX have officially announced a groundbreaking partnership during The Open Summit in Taipei. This collaboration will see IoTeX’s innovative modular capabilities integrated with Telegram applications, aiming to enhance The Open Network’s (TON) blockchain infrastructure and potentially onboard Telegram’s massive 950 million user base into the emerging DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) sector.
“By bridging TONX with Telegram’s extensive user base and leveraging IoTeX’s modular DePIN infrastructure, we are poised to revolutionize various industries. This partnership will harness the unique strengths of TONX’s platform layer and IoTeX’s DePIN technology,” stated TONX.
Since the start of the year, TON has successfully launched several decentralized applications (dApps) with significant user engagement by integrating Telegram mini-programs. IoTeX, a leading provider of DePIN infrastructure, will collaborate with TON in key sectors such as smart cities, supply chain management, and healthcare. Together, the partnership aims to develop advanced DePIN applications and provide scalable user scenarios to drive widespread adoption of DePIN technology.
TONX, a SuperApp platform driving the creation of the Web3 economy, has actively pursued strategic partnerships. In May, the platform launched a $5 million acceleration plan to enhance TON’s Web3 ecosystem. At The Open Summit, TONX’s co-founder, Dr. Awesome, also revealed a collaboration with Alibaba Cloud to expand TONX into the “APAC and MENA developer ecosystems.”
Concurrently, IoTeX is advancing its modular strategy with the introduction of its 2.0 version. As the leading modular infrastructure platform designed for DePIN, IoTeX aims to connect over a billion devices within the next 3-5 years, potentially unlocking a trillion-dollar DePIN market value. Collaboration with the TON ecosystem is crucial in achieving this ambitious goal.
Continuing its growth trajectory, IoTeX has recently partnered with DePIN aggregator Hivello to integrate its latest DePIN technologies. This collaboration seeks to empower Hivello users to simultaneously mine Hivello-based and IOTX DePIN tokens.
