Welcome to Creditcoin’s EVM-Compatible Mainnet Launch!

Creditcoin, a groundbreaking Layer 1 blockchain, has officially rolled out its EVM-compatible mainnet, marking a significant milestone in its mission to enhance global financial inclusion through innovative blockchain technology. In conjunction with this release, Creditcoin has introduced the CreditWallet app, a cutting-edge tool designed to elevate user engagement within the Creditcoin ecosystem.

The addition of EVM compatibility on the Creditcoin network represents a major advancement. This enhancement enables developers to seamlessly transfer their existing dApps and smart contracts to Creditcoin, facilitating smoother multi-chain interactions. By simplifying the complexities and expenses typically associated with cross-chain operations, Creditcoin is leading the way towards a more interconnected blockchain ecosystem. The new Universal Smart Contract (USC) layer will further streamline cross-chain connections, allowing for direct and secure transactions across various blockchains without the need for bridging.

Introducing CreditWallet: Your Gateway to Effortless Asset Management

Central to this release is CreditWallet, a mobile application that revolutionizes how users manage their digital assets. CreditWallet streamlines cross-network transfers between Creditcoin’s EVM and Substrate chains, providing a seamless experience for asset movement and dApp interaction across different ecosystems. With its user-friendly interface, non-custodial ownership, and robust security measures, CreditWallet is set to become an essential tool for both novice and experienced users.

Transitioning to the New Mainnet

Existing users of Creditcoin Classic will have their token balances transferred to the new mainnet based on a snapshot taken on August 21, 2024. Users will be required to reconfigure their roles as nominators and validators on the new network, while also exploring new staking opportunities offered through the updated dashboard. For those seeking technical integration, Creditcoin provides comprehensive resources, including RPC information and step-by-step instructions on integrating Creditcoin EVM with MetaMask.

About Creditcoin

Creditcoin is a foundational Layer 1 blockchain tailored to match and record credit transactions, establishing a public ledger of credit history and loan performance. This sets the stage for a new era of interoperable cross-chain credit markets. Through collaborations with technology partners, fintech lenders like Aella, and financial institutions across emerging markets worldwide, Creditcoin is enabling access to capital financing, building credit history, and cultivating trust for millions of underserved financial customers and businesses, all rooted in the principles of Real-World Assets (RWA).
