Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village Review

Just a short drive north of bustling Los Angeles, the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village in California positions itself as a haven for wellness enthusiasts. The 11-acre property offers a range of fitness classes, health-conscious dining options, and a full-service spa. Guests can also indulge in mental health-focused activities such as guided meditations, art therapy, and sound bath meditations. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located near beaches and hiking trails for those seeking outdoor adventures.

During my visit in late September, the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village generously hosted travel writers for an overnight stay, covering the cost of accommodations and additional experiences. While rooms at the resort can be pricey, ranging from $500 to $600 per night, the property offers a wide array of amenities that justify the cost.

One of the highlights of my stay was participating in classes and wellness experiences that I wouldn’t typically engage in during my daily routine. From relaxing sound bath meditations to calligraphy classes, the hotel offers unique activities that cater to a variety of interests. These experiences may come at an additional cost, but for travelers seeking something out of the ordinary, they are definitely worth it.

The hotel boasts three distinct pool areas, including an adults-only Serenity Pool and a massive outdoor deck known as the Cove. The indoor pool, located near the gym, is perfect for lap swimming and offers plenty of natural light through its glass ceiling.

The hotel’s 28-treatment-room spa provides a range of services, from traditional massages to luxurious treatments like the Lavender Milk and Honey Cocoon. The gym, spanning 16,000 square feet, is well-equipped with state-of-the-art machines and offers various classes for guests.

In addition to the spa and gym, the hotel offers a host of other amenities, including an arcade and complimentary rentals of electric bicycles. Guests can also take advantage of a wide range of classes, workshops, and personal health consultations led by experts in various fields.

Dining at the Four Seasons Westlake Village is a treat, with the signature restaurant Coin & Candor serving up delicious farm-to-table dishes. For a more casual meal, guests can visit Stir for a quick breakfast or Onyx Restaurant for sushi and sake. The hotel also features a late-night speakeasy-style bar called Prosperous Penny, as well as poolside dining and room service options.

Overall, the Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village is a great choice for those looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch amenities. Whether you’re a local seeking a day of relaxation or a traveler looking for a luxurious getaway, this hotel has something for everyone.
