Realtor.com has recently acquired Zenlist, a collaborative home search app, as announced early Monday morning in a press release.
Launched in 2016, Zenlist enables buyer’s agents and clients to search for properties together. The app features an in-app communication system where agents and homebuyers can share listings, exchange notes on potential homes, and plan property tours using Google Maps. It also includes an agent dashboard that provides insights into client activities such as viewed listings, saved properties, and inquiries made.
Zenlist aggregates property data from multiple listing services (MLSs) and has established partnerships with prominent MLSs and brokerages including Houwzer, Baird & Warner, and the San Francisco Association of Realtors (SFAR) MLS. Currently, the app boasts a user base of over 35,000 agents.
In a 2022 review by Inman tech expert Craig Rowe, Zenlist received a four-star rating for its user-friendly interface that enhances agent-client engagement and facilitates effective communication within the platform, allowing agents to create compelling narratives about properties and services.
