United Airlines is set to unveil a newly renovated United Club in Denver International Airport’s B West concourse, culminating a long effort to modernize its airport lounges. The 33,000-square-foot lounge will open to the public on July 31, 2025, showcasing United’s modern design aesthetic found in its newer club locations across the network. Regional influences are incorporated into the lounge’s artwork, decor, building materials, and wallpapers, making it a stunning addition to United’s lounge portfolio in Denver.
The B West lounge will significantly increase United’s lounge capacity at Denver airport, the airline’s fastest-growing hub, helping to alleviate overcrowding issues at other United Club locations. With seating for over 600 passengers, the new lounge joins three other United Club locations in Denver, offering a total of more than 100,000 square feet of lounge space with seating for 1,600-plus passengers.
United is also working on designing a Polaris lounge in the A concourse, although an opening timeline has not been announced yet. The B West lounge’s location by gate B32 on the west side of the B concourse provides easy access to passengers daily from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. MT.
The lounge features a three-story layout, with entrances on the concourse level that lead to the main lounge levels on the upper floors. The design of the B West lounge focuses on bringing in natural light, offering a bright and airy ambiance with large windows providing excellent views of the airplanes. Each floor includes a gathering place around a fireplace, creating a cozy living room feel. The lounge was designed to evoke a mountain cabin atmosphere, providing a unique experience for passengers.
One of the highlights of the lounge is the abundance of art pieces, many of which feature floral or natural elements reflecting Colorado’s surroundings. Whimsical decor, such as hiking boots, adds to the outdoor aesthetic. The lounge also incorporates plenty of greenery, giving it a more relaxed and natural atmosphere.
With over 600 seats, including lounge chairs, booths, high tops, and couches, passengers will have no trouble finding comfortable seating options. The furniture in the lounge includes traditional colors such as blues, grays, and browns, as well as fun pops of color to add a playful touch.
Food and beverage options in the lounge include buffet-style counters with a variety of cold and hot dishes. Complimentary and premium drink options are available at the bar on each floor. The lounge also features refreshment stations with water, coffee, Coca-Cola Freestyle machines, and snacks.
Additional amenities in the B West lounge include a small game area with a shuffleboard table, men’s and women’s restrooms, gender-neutral bathrooms, wellness rooms, and changing tables. The lounge is accessible to passengers traveling on United or a Star Alliance partner, with access granted through a United Club membership or a one-time pass.
In addition to United lounges, Denver airport also features a Centurion Lounge in Concourse C and a Capital One Lounge in Concourse A, accessible to cardholders of select premium travel cards. Guests can maximize their lounge access benefits by holding the right credit cards that offer complimentary United Club memberships or one-time passes.
