Jasmine Crockett Shares List Of Republicans Who Took Money From Epstein – Only Problem – It Was A Different Epstein!

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) has once again embarrassed herself by falsely accusing several Republican politicians of taking money from “somebody named Jeffrey Epstein.” Crockett made these claims on the House floor, targeting individuals like Mitt Romney, the NRCC, Lee Zeldin, and George Bush. However, federal campaign finance records show that Epstein primarily donated to Democrats, including current sitting members of Congress like Delegate Stacy Plaskett and Senator Chuck Schumer.

Newly released documents from Epstein’s estate also revealed questionable interactions between Plaskett and Epstein, with the latter advising her on questioning Trump’s former attorney during a congressional hearing. Furthermore, the House Oversight Committee disclosed that a fundraising firm representing Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries solicited donations from Epstein in 2013.

However, it was later revealed that the donations highlighted by Crockett actually came from a different person named Jeffrey Epstein – a Republican physician. Lee Zeldin, Trump’s EPA Administrator, criticized Crockett for confusing the two individuals. Records showed that Dr. Epstein made donations to former Republican Utah Sen. Mitt Romney during his presidential campaign in 2012.

Despite Crockett’s attempts to deflect criticism, it became clear that the donations in question were not linked to the convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. The House Oversight Committee also released emails showing Jeffries’ campaign soliciting money from Epstein and inviting him to a fundraising dinner with President Obama.

In response to the accusations, Plaskett denied colluding with Epstein to target Trump, emphasizing her pursuit of truth and justice. Republicans in the House sought to censure Plaskett but failed to garner enough support. Crockett’s credibility was previously questioned when she misrepresented information on CNN regarding redacted emails related to Trump.

Overall, the saga involving mistaken identity and political donations underscores the importance of fact-checking and accuracy in public statements.
