Chainlink, UBS, and DigiFT Collaborate on Tokenized Fund Workflow

DigiFT has recently unveiled a groundbreaking tokenized fund workflow in collaboration with Chainlink and UBS. This innovative project showcases a live, production-ready system that leverages the Chainlink Digital Transfer Agent (DTA) technical standard and Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) to automate fund operations on-chain.

The initiative, developed within Hong Kong Cyberport’s digital asset initiative, paves the way for regulated fund operations to be seamlessly executed through smart contract-to-smart contract interactions. This marks a significant milestone in the adoption of standardized, compliant tokenization infrastructure.

Automated Subscription, Redemption, and Compliance Processes

  • The technical pilot using Chainlink DTA and CRE demonstrates fully automated subscription, redemption, and compliance processes executed through smart contract-to-smart contract interactions.
  • The initiative comes as institutional demand for standardized, compliant tokenization infrastructure accelerates, with Chainlink emerging as a preferred choice.

The whitepaper released by DigiFT highlights the successful implementation of a tokenized fund workflow that streamlines fund subscription and redemption processes. By leveraging Chainlink infrastructure, the project showcases the potential for on-chain fund operations to be conducted securely and efficiently.

According to the latest CNF report, Chainlink has witnessed a surge in tokenized asset activity, solidifying its position as a key player in the rapidly growing tokenization sector. Major financial institutions, including J.P. Morgan and Fidelity, are increasingly turning to Chainlink for their tokenized fund flows.

Regulated Workflow with UBS and DigiFT

The collaboration between DigiFT, UBS, and Chainlink has resulted in a fully automated fund operations pilot within a regulated environment. This technical pilot demonstrates how subscription, redemption, and compliance workflows can be seamlessly executed on-chain, ensuring real-time transparency and operational efficiency.

By showcasing a fully compliant on-chain finance model, the whitepaper sets a precedent for regulated tokenized asset infrastructure. Chainlink’s reputation as a top choice among global financial giants for tokenized fund flows is further solidified through this successful collaboration.

As institutional participation in tokenized markets continues to grow, the need for unified standards and infrastructure has become paramount. Chainlink’s expansion of its offerings to meet these requirements underscores its commitment to supporting large-scale institutional adoption in the evolving tokenization landscape.
