Avianca-TAP Air Portugal Lounge MIA Review: 24/7 Priority Pass Access

The Avianca Airlines and TAP Air Portugal Lounge at Miami International Airport recently reopened on March 4, 2025, offering travelers a new space to relax and enjoy snacks and drinks 24/7. While the lounge provides serviceable food and beverages for Priority Pass members, the amenities for first class and business class passengers are underwhelming. Despite being recently renovated, there is a lack of outlets in the main area and limited seating compared to the lounge’s capacity.

The lounge offers a breakfast buffet from midnight to noon and lunch/dinner buffet from noon to midnight. Guests can also choose from a selection of hot food items from the menu. Complimentary self-service alcohol, coffee, and soft drinks are available. Additionally, there is a conference room with semi-private workspaces and a quiet room with lounge chairs.

Access to the Avianca and TAP Air Portugal Lounge is provided to Priority Pass Select members, Star Alliance Gold status travelers, and eligible Star Alliance international first class and business class passengers. Others can enter for a $48 daily fee. The lounge is located across from Gate J6 in Concourse J at Miami International Airport.

Overall, while the lounge is a good option for Priority Pass members looking to save on their bar tab, premium cabin passengers or those used to more luxurious lounges may find it lacking. It is recommended to visit outside of peak hours to avoid overcrowding.
