This collaboration allows developers building on Polkadot to integrate fiat and stablecoins directly into their applications. Leveraging Banxa’s network of payment solutions, developers can onboard users in over 30 fiat currencies, including USD and EUR, as well as access stablecoins like USDC and USDT, and Polkadot’s native token, DOT.
Banxa Enhances Web3 Compliance and Accessibility
The Banxa platform offers a comprehensive infrastructure that simplifies regulatory and settlement processes, with built-in KYC and AML systems ensuring compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Holding licenses in the UK, EU, Canada, Australia, and various US states, Banxa provides a secure operational environment globally.
With an average transaction processing time of 18 seconds and acceptance of over 100 payment methods, Banxa’s network spans across 200+ countries and territories, enabling businesses to expand while adhering to local regulations. This infrastructure streamlines complexity for developers and enhances the reliability of crypto payment solutions.
Expanding the Polkadot Ecosystem
Moonbeam, Polkadot’s Ethereum-compatible smart contract platform, has already integrated Banxa’s fiat gateway, offering compliant payment solutions and improved user onboarding for developers. Other platforms like Bifrost and Hydration are also leveraging Banxa’s services to enhance liquidity and attract new customers.
The integration of Banxa aligns with Polkadot’s technical advancements, including Agile Coretime and native smart contracts, signaling a shift towards a product-oriented ecosystem. This joint venture is expected to boost liquidity, compliance, and institutional participation, fostering the growth of Web3 through secure and regulated financial access.
