Earn up to 100,000 Bilt Points by paying rent with any credit card
Bilt now enables users to earn up to 100,000 Bilt points per calendar year by utilizing any credit card for rent payments. To get started, simply join Bilt Rewards (it’s free) and link a card to your account.
Previously, any rent payment made without the Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card was limited to earning 250 Bilt points per payment or 3,000 Bilt points annually. There’s a 3% fee for using third-party cards for rent payments, but you’ll also receive rewards from your credit card in addition to Bilt Rewards.

If you’re using the Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card, remember that the card must be used five times per statement period to earn points on rent and qualifying net purchases. If you don’t meet this requirement, you’ll earn a flat 250 points when using the card for rent payments through the Bilt app or website.
If you opt for a different card to pay rent, the 3% fee may be offset by a suitable credit card sign-up bonus. For example, the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is currently offering a generous welcome bonus: Earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening.
★ LIMITED TIME OFFER
Attention! For a limited time, the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is presenting one of its most enticing sign-up bonuses to date — 100,000 points that can be valued at over $1,000 when redeemed for travel. The issuer outlines it as follows: Earn 100,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 on purchases in the first 3 months from account opening. Discover more and apply here.
If you paid a 3% fee on the entire minimum spending requirement of $5,000, you’d trade $150 in fees for at least 105,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards® points (including the points from the initial spend requirement). These 105,000 Chase Ultimate Rewards® points would be valued at a minimum of $1,050 if redeemed for a statement credit or — even better — they would be valued at $1,313 when redeemed through Chase’s travel portal and potentially more if transferred to Chase’s transfer partners. Additionally, you’d earn an extra 5,000 Bilt points in the process, as the card is a Visa.
Southwest Airlines joins as a transfer partner (with a Rent Day bonus)
Bilt has also designated Southwest Airlines as its monthly Rent Day transfer bonus for May 1, 2025. Depending on your Bilt Rewards elite status, you’ll receive a bonus of between 25% and 100% for points transfers to Southwest — but like other Rent Day deals, it’s only available for one day.
