Bilt Now Offers Health Care Perks at Walgreens

Bilt Rewards has recently announced a new collaboration with Walgreens that will simplify the use of flexible savings accounts (FSAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs) for eligible purchases at the pharmacy chain. This partnership allows users to earn additional Bilt points when shopping at Walgreens, providing added benefits to members. These new features are already available in the updated Bilt app.

By linking your Bilt account with an FSA or HSA card, Bilt can automatically detect eligible purchases at Walgreens using any linked credit or debit cards. Through the Bilt app, users can choose to apply their FSA or HSA funds to eligible purchases, and Bilt will credit the original form of payment. Furthermore, users will earn Bilt points for spending at Walgreens with any card linked to their Bilt account.

This partnership offers a convenient way to automate applicable health care benefits and earn extra Bilt points on purchases. Bilt’s new health care benefit aims to help individuals save money by utilizing funds set aside for health care expenses in an FSA or HSA. This feature addresses the issue of approximately $4 billion in FSA dollars lost annually due to non-use, making it a valuable addition to the Bilt Rewards program.

To maximize rewards, users can also earn Bilt points at Walgreens by linking any credit or debit card to their Bilt Rewards account. With this partnership, users can earn 1 Bilt Rewards point per $1 spent on all Walgreens purchases, 2 Bilt Rewards points per $1 spent on Walgreens-branded items, and 100 Bilt points on prescription refills (subject to exclusions). Additionally, using the Bilt World Elite Mastercard® Credit Card can earn an additional 1 Bilt point per $1 spent on the card, providing an opportunity to earn even more points.

For users looking to earn rewards on their drugstore purchases, several credit cards offer bonus rewards at drugstores that can be stacked with Bilt Rewards. By utilizing these cards, users can maximize their rewards and earn additional benefits on their Walgreens purchases.

Overall, Bilt Rewards’ new collaboration with Walgreens presents a unique opportunity for members to earn extra points on their purchases while simplifying the use of FSAs and HSAs for health care expenses. This partnership enhances the value of the Bilt Rewards program and provides a seamless way to earn rewards while shopping at Walgreens.
