BNB Chain experiences growth

BNB Chain’s growth is evident from the data reported by Satoshi Club, showing a substantial increase in monthly active addresses over the last 12 months. With 27.7 million active addresses, BNB Chain holds a significant market share and ranks among the top Layer-1 blockchains.

Leading the pack in terms of active addresses is Solana, with 68.9 million monthly active addresses recorded last year. TRON follows closely behind with 14.1 million active addresses, showcasing impressive user on-chain activity. Aptos and Bitcoin secure the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, while Ethereum lags behind with 6.6 million active addresses.

Trends in the blockchain ecosystem

The data on monthly active addresses offers valuable insights into the trends shaping the blockchain ecosystem. The surge in active addresses for Solana and BNB indicates a growing interest in these networks, while Ethereum’s decline in active addresses reflects market challenges.

Alternative Layer-1 networks like Solana, BNB, TRON, Aptos, and Polygon are gaining momentum as users seek scalable solutions beyond Ethereum. This shift in interest highlights the evolving landscape of blockchain technology and user preferences.

Overall, the data underscores the varying fortunes of blockchain networks, with some experiencing rapid growth and others facing challenges. As users explore alternative networks and scaling solutions, the competition among blockchain platforms intensifies, driving innovation and adoption across the ecosystem.
