COZ Releases Neo N3 Ledger App v0.5.0
COZ has recently launched version 0.5.0 of the Neo N3 Ledger app, bringing a host of new features and enhancements to improve user experience.
The Ledger hardware wallet is a widely used device that enables users to securely manage their assets across various blockchains by storing private keys offline and authorizing transactions. COZ has been overseeing the development of the Neo Ledger apps since 2017.
Exciting New Features and Updates
The latest version, 0.5.0, introduces several updates focused on enhancing transaction verification and compatibility, such as:
- A new option to display the SHA256 hash of the transaction script during transaction verification.
- A new feature to show the signer account as a Neo address during transaction verification.
- A fix for TestNet network detection during transaction verification.
Users can download the Neo N3 Ledger app from the Ledger Live store. It’s important to note that the new features are not supported on the Nano S, Ledger’s oldest device model, but will work normally on other devices.
Aside from maintaining and enhancing the Neo N3 Ledger app, COZ is actively working on enhancing Neo X support within the Ledger ecosystem. Currently, users can sign transactions on Neo X using the Ethereum Ledger app. By connecting a Ledger device to the Neon Wallet desktop application via the Ethereum app, users can create and manage both Ethereum and Neo X addresses using the device. A dedicated Neo X branded Ledger app is set to be released in the future.
