Democrat County Attorney Lets Anti-Tesla Terrorist Off the Hook

Imagine an unhinged leftist strolling through downtown Minneapolis, casually walking his dog and keying not just one or two Teslas, but six Teslas, causing over $20,000 in damage. Caught on video, arrested, and identified as 33-year-old Dylan Adams, a state employee.

You’d think it’s a clear-cut criminal case, right? Wrong. Instead of facing consequences, Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty decided to let him off the hook.

Yes, you read that correctly. Adams caused extensive damage but is getting a pass in the form of “diversion” to ensure he keeps his job and pays restitution. Is this what justice looks like under liberal leadership—coddling perpetrators while victims are left wondering if their property matters? This isn’t just prosecutorial discretion; it’s left-wing activism.

Hennepin County Attorney Mary Moriarty

As a Democrat aligned with Minnesota’s DFL Party, Moriarty has consistently supported progressive criminal justice reforms and emphasized rehabilitation over incarceration. Her decision in this case reflects a broader trend of excusing bad behavior.

This incident highlights everything wrong with progressive governance. While Minneapolis police did their job, Moriarty’s decision made a mockery of justice. The perpetrator, a state employee, is being protected under leftist policies at the expense of the victims.

Who benefits from this leniency? Certainly not the victims or law-abiding citizens questioning the consequences for criminals. Progressive policies excuse bad behavior, portraying criminals as victims and property crimes as minor offenses.

But this wasn’t a random act. Adams targeted Teslas because of Elon Musk’s stance on government spending.

NEW: Minneapolis Police Department criticizes DA Mary Moriarty for not charging a Minnesota government employee who damaged Teslas worth $20,000.

No wonder why Minneapolis is turning into a sh*t hole.

Moriarty’s office tried to justify its decision as fair and just, focusing on restitution and accountability for Adams. But it seems like the only one benefitting is the lawbreaker.

This situation exposes the moral flaws of leftist ideology, which often excuses criminal behavior while vilifying law-abiding citizens. Democrats consistently show their support for criminals over law-abiding Americans.
