Did CDC Officials Mislead The Public About COVID Vaccine Efficacy? Rep. Massie Says “Yes”

Via American Greatness,

When Congressman Thomas Massie (R-KY) reached out to officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in December of 2020, he questioned the benefits of taking the newly released Covid vaccine after having already contracted the illness.

After reviewing the scientific studies himself and finding no benefit, Massie confronted the CDC about the misinformation they were disseminating, which claimed that their studies proved the Covid vaccine offered benefits to those with prior Covid infections.

Massie alleges that recordings of conversations with CDC officials in December of 2020 reveal that they were dishonest about the data from the Pfizer Covid vaccine trials.

During those recorded calls, Massie asserts that CDC officials were deliberately understating the effectiveness of natural immunity while advocating for Covid-19 vaccinations for everyone, regardless of prior infection.

According to Attkisson, the recordings show that CDC officials acknowledged the error in their studies regarding vaccine efficacy for previously infected individuals but hesitated to correct the misinformation, fearing it would confuse the public.

Attkisson notes that following Massie’s revelations, the same officials conducted a webinar for doctors the next day, repeating the incorrect information about vaccine efficacy for those with prior infections.

Concerned about the misallocation of vaccines, Massie raised the issue with CDC officials, emphasizing the importance of accurate information to ensure those at greater risk from Covid have access to the vaccine.

In a conversation with CDC’s Washington D.C. Director Anstis Brand, Massie pressed for correction of the erroneous study claims, emphasizing the potential consequences of misinformation.

Brand promised to investigate and provide a response.

During another call with CDC’s Dr. Sara Oliver, Massie pointed out the inaccuracies in the study and requested correction.

Dr. Oliver conceded Massie’s point but maintained the CDC’s recommendation for previously infected individuals to receive the vaccine.

The recorded calls indicate that the CDC was promoting vaccination even for individuals with natural immunity, raising concerns about the agency’s motives.

These revelations suggest that U.S health officials may have prioritized vaccine promotion over genuine scientific inquiry.
