The State of Developer Activity in the Blockchain Industry

Recent statistics show a slowdown in the blockchain industry, but Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Polygon remain at the forefront in terms of developer activity.

Ethereum Maintains Lead Despite Decrease

Ethereum continues to lead the pack in developer activity, although it has seen a 17.79% decrease in events over the past month. Despite this, it still boasts the highest number of developer activity events at 50.6K.

Following closely behind is BNB Chain, which saw a 16.58% drop in developer activity events but still holds the second position with 26.1K events.

Polygon rounds out the top three, with a 16.07% decrease in developer activity events but still maintains a strong presence with 21.1K events.

Other Notable Blockchains

Optimism, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Solana, Cosmos, Harmony, and Cardano also feature prominently in the list of top blockchains based on developer activity. Each has experienced varying degrees of decrease in developer activity events over the past month.

Cardano, in particular, has seen a significant 15.26% decrease in developer activity, landing it in the 10th position on the list.

Overall, the shifting dynamics in developer activity within the blockchain industry indicate a changing landscape for these key players.
