(Reuters) – Hurricane Beryl left a trail of destruction in Texas, with over 1 million homes and businesses still without power as of Friday morning, according to PowerOutage.us.
The number of outages has decreased from a peak of nearly 2.7 million on Monday when Beryl made landfall near Matagorda.
Centerpoint Energy (NYSE:) reported that they have restored power to more than 1 million customers out of the 2.26 million impacted.
