Fhenix, a pioneer in Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) Layer 2 solutions, has recently formed a significant partnership with Celestia to integrate its modular data availability network into the Fhenix ecosystem. This strategic move solidifies Fhenix’s position as a leader in privacy-preserving technology by harnessing Celestia’s robust data infrastructure.

Celestia’s modular design provides a high-throughput network that enables easy access to transaction data for download by users. This feature empowers Fhenix to support scalable, privacy-focused applications with improved efficiency. With reliable data streams from Celestia, Fhenix developers can create applications that utilize a variety of on- and off-chain data sources while upholding stringent privacy standards.

Guy Itzhaki, CEO and Co-Founder of Fhenix, remarked:
“Our goal at Fhenix is to democratize FHE technology, and integrating Celestia’s data availability solution is a crucial step towards this vision. Their network not only reduces the computational costs of FHE but also enhances the scalability and flexibility of our platform, enabling developers to build cutting-edge privacy-centric applications.”

Celestia’s modular and lightweight architecture complements Fhenix’s EVM-compatible network, tailored for efficient confidential computation. This integration streamlines the processing of encrypted on-chain data at a lower cost, facilitating the development of dynamic decentralized applications with end-to-end encryption.

Developers on Fhenix can now leverage the fhEVM to create decentralized applications using Solidity, benefiting from fully encrypted smart contracts. This integration supports a wide range of use cases, from decentralized finance (DeFi) and gaming to secure voting. The partnership with Celestia expedites the creation of innovative applications on Fhenix, enabling projects to focus on their core functionalities while Celestia manages data availability.
