Capital One’s latest lounge is now open at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. This lounge is the second Capital One Landing location, featuring a tapas-style dining concept in collaboration with Michelin-starred chef José Andrés. Guests can order food at one of the tapas bars or by scanning a QR code, and primary cardholders of specific Capital One cards receive complimentary access. The lounge is set to open to the public on Feb. 18, 2026.
The Capital One Landing at LaGuardia is situated in Terminal B, at the beginning of the sky bridge leading to the American Airlines concourse. The lounge will be open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., with reservations available through the Capital One app. The lounge design mirrors the inaugural location at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, with similar menu offerings and decor elements.
The LaGuardia outpost is larger, spanning 12,500 square feet with seating for about 180 people. It features an interior space with a four-sided bar, greenery, and art pieces, as well as an indoor terrace with views of the Manhattan skyline. The lounge also includes amenities like luggage nooks, all-gender restrooms, and dedicated power at each seat.
Food and beverage options at the Capital One Landing include small plate offerings available at tapas bars and through QR code scanning. The menu changes throughout the day, with breakfast items like montadito sandwiches and eggs Benedict, and lunch and dinner options like croquetas and carne asada. Guests can enjoy a variety of dishes in a flexible dining experience. From the lunch and dinner menu, my favorite dishes were the carne asada and pan con tomate topped with Iberico ham. For dessert, I highly recommend trying the mango and coconut sticky rice or indulging your sweet tooth with the flan.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for Capital One’s signature Daily Rituals. These unique offerings, such as a caviar cone or goat cheese-infused tomato cone, are brought to your table on a roaming cart. You never know what surprise you might encounter!
The drinks menu is extensive, featuring classic cocktails like espresso martinis, Manhattans, and New York sours. Mocktail enthusiasts will love the Flamingo Shuttle, a guava and vanilla concoction that was a hit at the preview event. Spanish wines, beers, teas, and coffee drinks are also available to complement your meal.
While the Landing at LaGuardia doesn’t offer paid grab-and-go options like the DCA location, the food quality and service make it a standout choice for airport lounges. The beautiful space, especially the terrace with panoramic views, adds to the overall experience.
However, keep in mind that as a Landing, this lounge may not have all the amenities of a traditional lounge, such as shower suites or rebooking assistance. Despite this, the unique offerings and stunning ambiance make it a worthwhile choice for travelers.
For those looking to maximize their rewards, booking your spot early and taking advantage of the delicious food and drink options at the Capital One Landing is a great way to enhance your airport experience. following sentence:
