Google’s Gemini AI Admits Liberal Bias

Authored by Noel S. Williams via American Thinker,

Amazon’s Alexa has recently highlighted the political gender gap through her responses to questions about voting for Trump and Kamala Harris. When asked about Trump, Alexa refused to endorse any political party or leader, while her response about Kamala Harris was filled with glowing praise.

Google’s Gemini AI also acknowledges a bias towards liberal viewpoints due to factors such as biased data, developer bias, and algorithmic bias.

Despite efforts to combat bias, the influence of liberal ideologies within big tech companies and their employees, as well as the data used for AI training, continues to perpetuate misinformation.

Unlike Alexa, Gemini refrains from engaging in discussions about elections or political figures. When asked to describe liberals, Gemini’s responses reflect outdated and biased data, failing to capture the current landscape of liberal ideology.

Google’s Gemini AI, released in 2023, needs to be updated with more recent and accurate data to provide a more comprehensive understanding of liberal viewpoints.

While Gemini’s responses on liberals may be outdated, its description of leftists as valuing collective rights and social justice is more aligned with current leftist ideologies.

As Gemini, associated with communication and intellect, continues to evolve, it is essential for Google to address biases in data to ensure a more accurate representation of political ideologies.
