Apart from the sign-up offers, the other features of the cards will remain the same.

  • Get up to $50 United Airlines TravelBank Cash each calendar year; registration required.

Is it a good offer?

The value of IHG points is approximately 0.5 cents each, according to BW valuations. Depending on the card you choose, you could receive a bonus worth at least $500, and as much as $850. This can greatly contribute to your next vacation, whether you plan on staying multiple nights at a Holiday Inn or enjoying a luxurious stay at IHG’s upscale brands like Kimpton or InterContinental Hotels and Resorts. With thousands of properties worldwide, you’ll have plenty of options for using your points.

However, IHG’s point valuation is relatively low compared to other hotel reward currencies, and as with any co-branded travel card, you are limited to redeeming points with that specific brand. Despite the enticing sign-up bonus offers, it’s worth exploring other credit card options, including general-purpose cards that offer more flexibility in redemption, before determining if an IHG card is the right choice for you.
