American Express has been operating Centurion Lounges for 10 years, with locations in cities like Los Angeles, New York, London, Hong Kong, and Sydney. This week, they opened a new lounge at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, targeting premium cardholders, including those with The Centurion® Card.
The lounge is located in Terminal 2, with a floor-to-ceiling living wall welcoming guests. The design is inspired by D.C.’s architecture, featuring local art and photos of American icons. The main dining area has a sculpture installation resembling the Potomac River.
The lounge offers ample seating, private rooms, and workspaces. Centurion® Card members have access to a special section with a beverage station. Bathrooms and a shower suite are available, with Centurion® Card members having extended shower access.
Food and drinks are curated by renowned chefs, with buffet-style service in the dining area. The bar offers a selection of wines, cocktails, and beers. Beverage stations are available throughout the lounge.
Access to the Centurion Lounge is granted to American Express cardholders, including those with The Platinum Card® and The Business Platinum Card®. Delta cardholders can access the lounge when traveling on a same-day Delta flight.
