Experience the third installment of Ireland’s exclusive Ethereum-focused hackathon and conference at Dogpatch Labs, CHQ Building this May.
ETH Dublin aims to unite and empower the Ethereum community in Ireland through insightful talks and entrepreneurial challenges. Whether you’re a novice or an expert in onchain technology, anticipate a weekend of innovation and collaboration, featuring esteemed guests such as Ethereum Co-founder Vitalik Buterin and Avara Founder, Stani Kulechov.
Caolán Walsh, Co-founder of ETH Ireland, expressed, “Our event offers a dual experience: a conference for those intrigued by decentralized technology and a hackathon for those already immersed in it. We are dedicated to preparing Ireland for the social benefits of on-chain technology and welcome all curious minds to engage in some way.”
The conference agenda delves into the core of Ethereum, covering topics like application layer technologies, governance mechanisms, and blockchain security through staking. Through a mix of presentations, panels, and workshops on forward-thinking subjects, participants gain insights into Ethereum’s evolution, including Decentralized Finance (DeFi), Real World Assets (RWA), and public goods.
Pete Townsend, Managing Director at Techstars, added, “This isn’t just another tech conference; it’s much more. Similar to a literary festival, this event celebrates our potential in the on-chain realm. Think of it as a build-a-thon with a specialized focus group happening concurrently. It’s a must-attend for builders, founders, and inquisitive minds exploring where decentralized tech fits into the next wave of innovation.”
In addition to discussions and technology, ETH Dublin 2025 introduces the Collective Forest of Possibility—a collaborative exhibit merging Irish folklore with Ethereum principles to envision a decentralized, joyful infrastructure.
Tessa Maneewong, Exhibit Curator at ETH Dublin 2025, shared, “Rooted in Irish lore, Ethereum’s values, and the spirit of defensive acceleration, this exhibit is a joint effort among technologists, researchers, builders, artists, and designers to co-create an immersive cultural experience that enhances builder engagement and welcomes new audiences to the Ethereum ecosystem. Through storytelling, space design, and interactive elements, we explore themes like decentralization, harm reduction, information resilience, and digital privacy from a fresh and thought-provoking perspective.”
With hackers collaborating with artists, researchers, and activists, the weekend promises a dynamic blend of coding and fun—an open invitation to shape a more regenerative, on-chain future.
