Russian Drones & Missiles “Rained Down” On Kyiv In One of the War’s Most Devastating Attacks Yet

Russia initiated a massive aerial attack on Ukraine overnight, deploying over 500 drones focused on targeting Kyiv. The assault, following a conversation between President Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin, failed to bring any resolution to the ongoing conflict in Eastern Europe.

Ukrainian Minister of Foreign Affairs Andrii Sybiha described the onslaught as one of the most severe yet, with numerous Russian drones and ballistic missiles bombarding the capital city. He emphasized the need for immediate and robust sanctions against Moscow, as well as providing Ukraine with necessary defense resources.

In the aftermath of the attack, images and reports surfaced depicting the devastation in Kyiv, with civilian and residential areas suffering significant damage. The escalation of violence coincided with the suspension of weapon shipments from the US to Ukraine, raising concerns about the country’s ability to defend itself.

President Trump expressed dissatisfaction with the situation, acknowledging the lack of progress in his recent communication with Putin. As discussions continue between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and Trump regarding the paused weapon deliveries, the urgency to address the escalating crisis becomes increasingly apparent.
