Blockchain Transactions Reach Record High in Past Week

Over the past week, the total number of blockchain transactions across public blockchains and Layer-2 networks has reached a record high of 342 million transactions. This marks the highest weekly figure ever recorded.

Solana, BNB Chain, and Tron Lead Transaction Volumes

According to data from Dune Analytics, Solana, BNB Chain, and Tron were the top three blockchains in terms of transaction volumes over the past week.

Solana (SOL) has the highest transaction count at 59.46%, attributed in part to the surge of meme tokens launched through various launchpad projects on the platform.

The two leading meme coin launchpads, LetsBonk and Pump.fun, are on Solana, attracting new users and driving transaction volumes to new heights.

Despite accounting for 18.76% of total transactions, BNB Chain remains the network with the most decentralized applications (Dapps), offering a wide range of Dapps in DeFi, GameFi, and NFT sectors.

The recent BNB Chain Maxwell Hard Fork update has halved block processing time to 0.75 seconds, enhancing speed and synchronization without compromising decentralization.

Solana, BNB Chain, and Tron are also among the top 10 blockchains with the highest daily active users, showcasing consistent engagement from real user communities.

Tron has surpassed Ethereum in USDT volume, driven by whale trades and over 1 million daily retail transactions.

This surge in network activity could indicate a new growth cycle for the crypto market, although some transaction volume may stem from speculative activities.

The 342 million blockchain transactions signify a positive evolution and increasing user engagement in the blockchain ecosystem.
