Spain stocks saw a positive trend at the close of Monday’s trading session, with gains in various sectors driving the market higher.
By the end of the session in Madrid, the IBEX 35 index gained 0.05%.
Leading the way among top performers were Repsol, which saw a 1.77% increase, Bankinter with a 1.44% rise, and Naturgy Energy Group SA with a 1.21% increase in late trade.
On the flip side, SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE, Fluidra, and Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA were among the session’s worst performers.
Notably, SOLARIA ENERGIA Y MEDIO AMBIENTE shares hit 3-year lows, while Corporacion Acciona Energias Renovables SA shares reached all-time lows.
In commodities trading, Gold Futures dipped, while Crude oil and Brent oil prices experienced gains.
EUR/USD and EUR/GBP remained stable, while the US Dollar Index Futures saw a slight increase.
