SpoonOS has recently launched a groundbreaking Web3 Skills marketplace, introducing two exciting community initiatives: a Skill capture community campaign and a builders campaign featuring a generous US $5,000 rewards pool. The primary focus of the marketplace is to aid developers in creating, sharing, and reusing modular agent capabilities. Participants can earn rewards, including $NFT badges on Neo X and potential $GAS-based rewards, for their contributions.
The marketplace is designed to facilitate composable AI agent development by offering transparent attribution and community-driven ratings and reviews based on real-world usage. Developers can publish standalone “Skills” representing specific capabilities, such as wallet operations or on-chain data queries. These Skills can be reused and combined to create more complex agents, streamlining the development process and speeding up deployment.
Skills are referred to as “the last mile” in modularizing AI for Web3 by the SpoonOS team. They have also revealed plans for an agent marketplace where fully assembled agents built from existing Skills can be deployed and monetized.
Builders campaign with a $5,000 prize pool
The builders campaign is targeting developers and teams who contribute high-quality Skills and enhancements to the marketplace. A pooled rewards fund of US $5,000 will be distributed to early participants based on their impact, including usage metrics and community ratings.
This campaign aims to support both the depth and breadth of contributions. Developers who create widely used and well-reviewed components are eligible for larger shares of the rewards pool. Verified contributors will receive $NFT badges on Neo X, while exceptional contributions may also qualify for additional $GAS rewards.
Eligible submissions include new Skills, improvements to existing components, bug fixes, documentation enhancements, and other significant pull requests. A one-week review period will precede badge distribution, with on-chain credentials serving as indicators for future rewards within the SpoonOS ecosystem.
Community campaign offering $NFT-based rewards
In a bid to encourage wider participation, SpoonOS has launched a Skill Capture campaign aimed at non-developers within the community. Participants who engage in promotional and support-related activities can earn exclusive $NFT badges on Neo X.
Contributions such as promotion, engagement, and other community support actions are eligible for recognition, with $NFTs serving as social badges and indicators for future reward systems. Technical skills or GitHub submissions are not required for participation.
By unveiling the marketplace alongside builder and community-focused campaigns, SpoonOS aims to promote early engagement and expedite the adoption of composable, agent-based applications within the Web3 ecosystem.
