The collaboration between Taiko and Nethermind aims to provide a solid infrastructure for the advancement of the rollup network. The strategic alliance is poised to revolutionize Ethereum’s L2 landscape by translating extensive research into real-world, permissionless systems for mainnet deployment.
The joint effort encompasses research, contributions, standardization, client implementations, and proofs-of-concept to accelerate the Ethereum rollup ecosystem while maintaining decentralization. Key focus areas include pre-confirmation infrastructure, layer-2 fee mechanisms, ZK metering, profiling, and EIP-7917 implementation.
