Theta Network, a decentralized cloud for artificial intelligence and blockchain, has partnered with FlyQuest to introduce a specialized AI esports chatbot.

FlyQuest, a prominent esports organization and leading League of Legends team in North America, will utilize Theta EdgeCloud to operate its intelligent AI chatbot named a.PHiD, as announced by Theta Network (THETA).

The chatbot, accessible on the FlyQuest website and through Discord integration, will provide responses to fan inquiries, including information on team rosters, upcoming matches, and results.

CEO of FlyQuest, Brian Anderson, expressed excitement about the collaboration and stated that the launch of a.PHiD will transform the fan experience of the esports team. This initiative aims to enhance fan engagement through personalized interactions and broader involvement.

The partnership with FlyQuest coincides with Theta Labs’ announcement of an update to its EdgeCloud – a hybrid computing platform for AI, video, and rendering applications. EdgeCloud utilizes high-performance cloud-based GPUs, including the latest from Nvidia, and has formed partnerships with industry leaders such as Google Cloud.

In its recent update, Theta Network revealed that EdgeCloud now supports AI mobile browsers and video dashboards. Additionally, EdgeCloud is optimized for both iOS and Android, providing developers with access to features such as model training, intelligent AI, analytics, and payments.

Theta Labs introduced EdgeCloud in May 2024 and has witnessed a surge in adoption in recent months.

This growth has been particularly notable in academic and enterprise environments, with Theta securing partnerships with esteemed institutions like Seoul National University, University of Oregon, and most recently, Ajou University. These institutions leverage the hybrid cloud GPU infrastructure for AI research.

Theta EdgeCloud supports Theta Fuel (TFUEL), fiat, and USDC payments.
