U.S. Tells “Maryland Father”: No Asylum, Next Stop Eswatini

The “Maryland Father,” also known as alleged MS-13 illegal alien gangster Kilmar Abrego Garcia, has been informed by the Department of Homeland Security about plans to deport him to the African country of Eswatini. An Immigration and Customs Enforcement official sent an email to Garcia, stating that Eswatini is considered the best fit for him due to concerns about being prosecuted or tortured in other countries.

Homeland Security humorously commented that Garcia is afraid of the entire western hemisphere. Last month, District Judge Paula Xinis ruled that Garcia cannot be deported until early October as he fights for renewed asylum claims. The Trump administration had offered Garcia deportation to Costa Rica in exchange for a guilty plea, which was rejected by his lawyers. He is facing accusations of human trafficking by the federal government.

New data obtained through a FOIA request showed that the Trump administration is on track to deport 276,207 illegal immigrants annually, totaling about 1.1 million over four years. The article also includes a tweet from Homeland Security and a link to additional news.
