Virgin Red is set to launch a new credit card called the Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard, in partnership with Synchrony. Although the card is not currently open for applications, interested individuals can join the waitlist to be notified when it becomes available in fall 2024.

The Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard will come with a $99 annual fee but will not charge any foreign transaction fees. Cardholders can look forward to a welcome bonus of 40,000 Virgin Points after spending $3,000 in the first 90 days. Additionally, they will earn 3 Virgin Points per $1 spent on Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Hotels, and Virgin Voyages purchases, and 1 Virgin Point per $1 spent on all other purchases.

One of the standout features of the card is the travel perks it offers. By spending $15,000 per year, cardholders can choose from a selection of exclusive Virgin perks, such as a companion seat or seat upgrade on a Virgin Atlantic flight, a free night or suite upgrade at a participating Virgin Hotel, or up to a $300 bar tab on a Virgin Voyages cruise. Cardholders can also earn extra points by renewing their card, adding authorized users, or making eligible purchases.

To redeem Virgin Points, cardholders can use them for flights, hotel stays, cruises, and a variety of experiences offered by the Virgin brand, such as bike or kayak tours, wine tastings, and movie tickets.

Overall, the Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard offers a range of benefits and rewards for individuals who frequently travel with Virgin Atlantic, stay at Virgin Hotels, or book Virgin Voyages cruises. Join the waitlist today to stay updated on when you can apply for this exciting new credit card.
