War Between India & Pakistan Would Be ‘None Of Our Business’: Vance

Vice President J.D Vance recently commented on the escalating conflict between nuclear-armed Pakistan and India, stating that a full-scale war would be disastrous. He emphasized that the United States would not intervene in the situation, as it is not their concern. Vance expressed concern about the potential for a nuclear confrontation but stressed the importance of diplomacy and cooler heads prevailing to prevent such a scenario.

During a recent visit to India, Vance witnessed the aftermath of a deadly attack in Kashmir, which further heightened tensions between the two countries. Despite calls for de-escalation, the conflict has continued to intensify, with reports of drone exchanges, anti-aircraft fire, and fighter jet engagements.

Regional diplomatic efforts are underway to defuse the situation, with Saudi Arabia and other Gulf states sending diplomats to mediate between India and Pakistan. Both sides are posturing for their domestic audiences, with Pakistani analysts suggesting that there is still a chance for de-escalation if leaders can find a way to save face.

Cities in Jammu and Kashmir are experiencing power outages and heightened security measures, while reports of military actions and downed jets add to the uncertainty of the situation. As the fog of war persists over the border region, the Trump administration’s stance of non-involvement is a positive sign, considering America’s current engagements in other conflicts worldwide.

The question remains: can a fourth war over Kashmir be avoided? Only time will tell as tensions continue to rise between India and Pakistan.
