In the ever-expanding realm of Blockchain Technology, Solana and Aptos have achieved a milestone by recording the highest number of transactions in a single week. According to statistics shared on X, Solana and Aptos have surpassed other top blockchains such as Tron, Near Protocol, Sei, Base, BNB Chain, and more, setting a new record for the highest number of transactions this week.

Recent data shows that Solana leads the pack with a total of 273 million transactions, followed by Aptos securing the second spot with 197 million transactions. Solana boasts a market cap of $83.8 billion, while Aptos stands at $6.93 billion.

Top Blockchain by The Number of Transactions During the Last Week

Solana and Aptos emerge as the top blockchains by the number of transactions in the past week. Tron, Near, Sei, Base, BNB Chain, SUI, Polygon, and Injective also make their presence felt in the list of top blockchains for the week.

Artemis, a key player in on-chain fundamentals for crypto assets, has compiled this list based on transactions, average daily active addresses, and fully diluted market cap. Apart from Solana and Aptos, Tron and Near Protocol follow closely with 48.4 million and 40.03 million transactions respectively.

Solana and Aptos, The Preferred Choices of the Crypto Community

Solana’s dominance can be attributed to its high throughput and cost-effective transactions, making it a top choice among crypto enthusiasts. With 1.61 million active addresses and a fully diluted market cap of $83.8 billion, Solana leads the pack. Meanwhile, Aptos, a relatively new contender, stands out with 197 million transactions, 96,000 active users, and a market cap of $6.93 billion.
