Did Biden-Harris Divert FEMA Funds For Luxury Migrant Apartments With Flat-Screen TVs?

The Biden-Harris administration’s open southern border policies have caused FEMA to divert $1.4 billion in storm relief funds towards illegal and legal aliens, impacting the agency’s ability to effectively manage emergencies like the ongoing disaster in the US Southeast. According to a report from NYPost, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas revealed that FEMA is now facing a funding crisis, unable to support Americans through the rest of the hurricane season due to these prioritizations.

Critics, including Tim Murtaugh, have pointed out the stark contrast between the lack of funds for American citizens and the excessive spending on housing and services for migrants under the current administration. Journalist Savanah Hernandez further shed light on the issue by uncovering luxurious apartments in Maine where migrants are receiving free rent and utilities for up to two years, funded in part by FEMA.

Hernandez’s investigation revealed that these apartments, funded by FEMA, are located in the same county that received millions of dollars for housing migrants, highlighting the mismanagement of resources. She also highlighted the impact of the migrant crisis on local communities, noting an increase in crime and other issues.

The Biden-Harris administration’s prioritization of illegal and legal aliens over American citizens has led to a botched relief response in the US Southeast, echoing the failures of past disasters like Hurricane Katrina. The ongoing crisis serves as a stark reminder of the consequences of these misguided policies.
