It has emerged as the fastest-growing among the top 15 busiest airports in terms of passenger volume.

For travelers holding Star Alliance Gold status, access to the new lounge is granted, be it via United Premier Gold, Platinum, 1K status, or equivalent statuses with other member airlines. Additionally, plans are in place for Star Alliance to open another lounge in Terminal 3 at Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport in 2025, reflecting the city’s growing prominence as an international travel hub.
