Far-Left Activist Charged In Jewish Museum Killings, Shot Couple Multiple Times As They ‘Attempted To Crawl Away’

A 30-year-old man from Chicago, Elias Rodriguez, has been charged in the fatal shooting of two Israeli embassy employees in Washington. The shooting took place outside an event at the Jewish Museum. Rodriguez is accused of opening fire on a group of people leaving an event hosted by an advocacy group supporting Israel, resulting in the deaths of Sarah Lynn Milgrim and Yaron Lischinsky. The court filing reveals brutal execution-style murders, with Rodriguez shouting “free Palestine” as he was apprehended by police. He shot the young woman multiple times, even as she struggled to stay alive. Rodriguez claimed he did it for Palestine and Gaza, and initial findings suggest he is an ANTIFA radical and avowed communist.

US Attorney General Pam Bondi and acting US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro are on the scene, and the case is being investigated as an act of terrorism. More charges may be added, and the death penalty is being considered. The FBI is analyzing Rodriguez’s social media profiles and associates, as he had traveled to DC for a work conference. The Israeli ambassador is safe, and the Israeli embassy staff were shot at close range outside the museum. The incident has been described as a depraved act of anti-Semitic terrorism by Israel’s ambassador to the UN.

The security situation remains fluid, and reports suggest a suspect is in custody. Unconfirmed reports indicate that the gunman screamed “free Palestine” before opening fire. Tensions are high following the start of a new phase of the Gaza War, leading to concerns about escalating geopolitical tensions.
