No MAHA Without The Heartland: Trump Must Forge Strong Ties With Farmers

The recent MAHA Report, which was released last week, emphasizes the importance of focusing on deliverables that fall within the executive’s constitutionally limited scope of authority. While some argue for increased federal authority to “Make America Healthy Again,” the report warns of the risks of corporate capture when control becomes centralized.

Instead of expanding federal authority, the administration is fully committed to partnering with America’s farmers and ranchers. RFK Jr, during the MAHA Report press conference, emphasized that the partnership with farmers is essential for success in the movement.

ZeroHedge conducted research on what a farmer-focused partnership might entail for MAHA Ag leaders. Surprisingly, there was consensus on key issues such as regulatory reform, mission realignment, and consumer choice within the agricultural industry.

Judith McGeary, the Executive Director of FARFA, highlighted the need for regulatory reforms that promote fair competition and access to healthy food for consumers. She explained how current regulations favor large-scale producers and hinder small producers from accessing the market.

Bill Bullard, the CEO of R-CALF USA, echoed McGeary’s call for regulatory reform, emphasizing the importance of antitrust enforcement and consumer confidence in the beef supply chain.

Dustin Kittle, an Agricultural attorney, raised concerns about the corporate capture of the Farm Credit Administration and called for a mission realignment to safeguard family farms.

Cole Bolton, a rancher and Senior Vice President of Frontier Bank of Texas, stressed the need for regulatory reforms to provide ranchers with access to liquidity for stability and expansion.

The alarming rate at which farms are disappearing in the United States underscores the urgency for action. Small family farms, which make up the majority of American farms, have found consensus on the need for partnership and reform in the industry.

Time is of the essence, which is why ZeroHedge has launched a farmer-focused partnership with the Beef Initiative to inject liquidity back into the hands that produce our food supply.

As regulations burden small players and public funds prioritize mega-donor reciprocity, the focus should be on consumer choice and free markets rather than bigger government intervention. MAHA farmers are united in their calls for regulatory reforms and mission realignment of executive agencies. sentence: Please remember to turn off the lights before you leave the room.
