Being in Miraval mode brings me immense joy. A few days spent at one of their three all-inclusive resorts acts as a reset for my mind and body.
While I adore the experience, the cost can be a deterrent, often exceeding $1,000 per night. However, Miraval offers award stays that can be booked with World of Hyatt points, with excellent redemption rates. It’s one of the best ways to utilize Hyatt points. Here’s all you need to know about staying at Miraval with Hyatt points.
Embracing Miraval Mode
Let’s start with some basics about Miraval. They have three resorts located in Tucson, Arizona; Austin, Texas; and the Berkshires of Massachusetts. I’ve had the pleasure of visiting all three, and they truly are exceptional.
Each resort caters to adults 18 and over, offering a range of wellness, adventure, culinary, spiritual, and spa activities. The all-inclusive rate covers accommodations, meals (including snacks and non-alcoholic beverages), many complimentary activities, and a $175 resort credit for use towards additional activities and spa services.

At Miraval, there’s no tipping required, and the environment encourages guests to disconnect from digital devices, allowing them to be fully present without the distractions of cash tipping or constant phone usage.
Having frequented Miraval enough, I’ve become a lifetime member of the Authentic Circle loyalty program, separate from World of Hyatt. This membership grants me access to additional resort credits and exclusive fourth- or fifth-night-free packages.
Furthermore, I’ve accumulated enough Hyatt points from previous stays to cover the entire cost of a stay at a Miraval property.
Cost of a Night at Miraval
Miraval offers a life-changing experience, but it comes at a price. When making a reservation, I anticipate a rate of around $1,200 per night and am pleasantly surprised if it’s lower. Thanks to promotions and special deals, it frequently is.
Rates fluctuate based on the season. For instance, a stay at Miraval Arizona is notably more affordable during the scorching summer months compared to other times of the year. Conversely, Miraval Berkshires is more budget-friendly in winter than in the other seasons. Miraval Austin’s pricing remains relatively consistent throughout the year.
For a stay from Nov. 6 to 9, 2025, the starting price for a hotel-style room for one person before a 25% resort fee and taxes at all three properties is:
-
In Arizona: Begins at $1,695 per night.
-
In Austin: Starts at $1,053 per night.
-
In the Berkshires: Begins at $1,076 per night.
Considering these prices, it’s evident why using Hyatt points can be highly beneficial.
According to the World of Hyatt award chart, a night at Miraval can cost as little as 40,000 points per night for a single-occupancy standard room, or 57,500 points for a double-occupancy standard room during off-peak times. Peak times may elevate the cost to 50,000 points for a single-occupancy standard room or 72,000 points for a double-occupancy room.
You can also utilize points to reserve suites, starting at 65,000 points per night.
An additional advantage of using World of Hyatt points for booking is the waiver of the 25% resort fee. This fee is waived for award bookings made through World of Hyatt.
For instance, for a stay at Miraval Arizona Resort and Spa from Nov. 6 to 9, it would require 45,000 points per night. This results in a redemption rate of 3.8 cents per point, surpassing BW’s valuation of Hyatt points at 2.2 cents each, making it an excellent method to maximize your Hyatt points.

Enter your travel dates and activate the “Use Points” feature to view available room types for points redemption. If your dates are flexible, you can utilize Hyatt’s “Points Calendar” to check for availability.

When booking with points, you receive the same benefits as you would if paying with cash or a credit card, including the $175 nightly resort credit per person per room.
However, World of Hyatt points can only be used for Miraval stays and cannot be utilized for Dining, Spa & More awards at Miraval properties.
In the event of canceling an award stay at Miraval, the cancellation must be made at least 21 days before the stay to receive a points refund. Cancellations after that period will result in the points being returned, but a one-night stay charge will apply at the current property rate.
