Authored by Lawrence Kadish via The Gatestone Institute,

The British were pioneers in developing aircraft carriers as a new weapon of war, but it was the Japanese who truly mastered this technology by assembling multiple carriers into a single battle group, leading to their devastating attack on the American fleet at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.

Fast forward to today, the State of Israel has excelled in asymmetrical warfare, utilizing their technological prowess in intelligence gathering and precision strikes to counter threats from those seeking their demise. From explosive pagers targeting Hezbollah operatives to covert computer malware disrupting Iranian nuclear activities, Israel’s achievements are remarkable.

Meanwhile, our allies in Ukraine are employing drones operated by sleeper agents to target Russian military assets far from the front lines, demonstrating a new form of warfare that keeps adversaries guessing.

For the Russians, the threat of unknown agents lurks around every corner.

Considering the capabilities of our allies, one must ponder: What tactics might our enemies be plotting?

Reflecting on the lessons from the 1941 Japanese carrier strike, our foes are observing, strategizing, and contemplating how to utilize innovative warfare tactics pioneered by democratic nations against them.

Who are the potential sleeper agents within our utilities, capable of unleashing malware that could cripple our electrical grids and plunge our cities into darkness?

Could there be hidden drones awaiting orders in barns near our strategic air bases, ready to strike at a moment’s notice?

Is it possible for North Korean hackers to manipulate our financial systems, jeopardizing everything from digital currencies to financial transactions at the behest of their Communist regime?

These chilling scenarios highlight the need for America to be vigilant and prepared in a world where traditional military tactics are no longer the sole threat.

While China is also exploring unconventional warfare strategies, they are not neglecting conventional military advancements.

Reports indicate that China’s second aircraft carrier is set to be operational by 2026, while they are covertly developing their own missile defense system despite publicly criticizing similar U.S. initiatives.

Looking ahead to 2026, the United States is poised to make strides in various areas, from lunar exploration to naval expansion, drone technology enhancement, and strategic defense reinforcement.

Throughout this evolution, the forces of freedom must acknowledge that, like Imperial Japan in 1941, our adversaries are closely monitoring our vulnerabilities.

It is imperative for the White House to exhibit unwavering leadership in safeguarding our future and defending democracy and liberty.
