Solana’s ecosystem for real-world assets (RWA) achieved significant milestones in June and early July. The network experienced remarkable growth in tokenized stocks, RWAs, stablecoins, DeFi, and digital collectibles.
Solana solidified its position as the leading network for tokenized equity trading and RWA adoption by active users.
Solana’s Dominance in Tokenized Stock Trading
Solana reported that approximately 95% of on-chain tokenized equity trading occurred on its network in June. The total trading volume for tokenized stocks reached $10 billion, marking a 180% increase from the previous month.
One notable trading event was during SpaceX’s IPO day, where Backpack’s SPCX token generated $108 million in trading volume within 24 hours.
Market analyst Defi Rocketeer highlighted that while Ethereum leads in issued RWA value with around $16.6 billion, Solana leads in RWA utilization. 97% of on-chain spot trading volume for tokenized equities took place on Solana, reinforcing its role as the primary marketplace for tokenized stocks.
Record High RWA Value on Solana
Solana reported a record high value of real-world assets on its network, reaching $3.6 billion in June, a 33% increase from the previous month. The number of RWA holders surpassed 292,000.
OKX Ventures data indicated that Solana’s RWA market grew from $873 million in January to $3.62 billion in July, marking a 315% increase in six months and setting a new all-time high.
Token Relations revealed that Solana leads all blockchain networks in RWA holder count, with 295,357 wallets.
Among the top 15 RWA products on the network, 12 are tokenized equities, with the remaining three including tokens from Orogold, Ondo Finance, and OnRe Finance.
Expansion in Payments, DeFi, and Institutional Adoption
Several major financial institutions expanded their integration with Solana in June. Mastercard launched on-chain stablecoin settlement in over 210 countries, while MoneyGram, Toss Bank, and KG Inicis chose Solana for new payment initiatives.
Solana’s spot trading volume exceeded that of Coinbase and Kraken on daily and weekly measures in June. The network also introduced Frontier Traders, a global incentive program for active traders.
Defi Rocketeer reported that Solana accounted for 41% of on-chain spot trading volume in the first quarter of 2026, surpassing Ethereum and its Layer-2 networks combined.
Over the past 30 days, more than $3 billion worth of RWAs were exchanged on Solana.
Growth of Infrastructure Beyond Token Issuance
Analysts noted that Solana’s advantage extends beyond issuing tokenized assets to supporting a broader financial infrastructure around those assets.
The ecosystem includes issuance platforms like Securitize, Ondo Finance, Superstate, xStocks, and Centrifuge, as well as oracle providers such as Pyth Network, Chainlink, RedStone, and Switchboard for pricing data.
On the lending side, platforms like Kamino, Jupiter Lend, and Loopscale enable tokenized assets to be used as collateral. Decentralized exchanges such as Jupiter, Raydium, Meteora, and Orca facilitate secondary market trading.
Defi Rocketeer described Solana as an ecosystem where tokenized assets can “issue, price, trade, borrow, loop, and settle” on a single blockchain, positioning it as an active marketplace for real-world assets.
