Bitpanda and RBI Partnership
The collaboration was announced on September 23. Bitpanda Enterprise will manage the crypto infrastructure, allowing RBI’s network banks to offer their own crypto services seamlessly.
This partnership will impact an RBI network serving approximately 18 million customers.


Each bank within the network will have the flexibility to customize their crypto offerings based on local regulations and market conditions.
CEO Michael Höllerer mentioned a surge in demand for crypto assets across RBI’s markets, with Bitpanda playing a key role in meeting this demand.

Expansion Plans
Following a successful partnership with Raiffeisenlandesbank Niederösterreich-Wien in Austria in 2024, Bitpanda is now gearing up to expand into Albania, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia in 2027.
Christian Trummer, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Bitpanda, expressed his pride in bringing digital assets to millions of individuals in the CEE region.
While Austrian customers can already access the service, the rollout in the other countries is expected to commence in the first half of next year.
This collaboration marks a significant milestone for traditional banking, as customers will soon have access to cryptocurrency trading through their trusted bank.
