AltLayer has teamed up with Succinct Labs to introduce OP Succinct, a state-of-the-art solution designed to enhance the experience of developers utilizing the Optimism Stack. OP Succinct brings faster finality, zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs, and full Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility at no out-of-pocket proving costs, empowering AltLayer’s Rollup-as-a-Service (RaaS) users. The collaboration also aims to simplify ZK integration for developers with minimal hassle.

Enhancing Speed and Efficiency with OP Succinct

OP Succinct provides an enhanced development framework where rollup developers can easily migrate to zero-knowledge rollups. With ZK proofs offering quick finality, developers no longer have to wait for the standard seven-day fraud-proof window associated with optimistic rollups. Instead, they can experience finality within minutes, revolutionizing how applications interact with blockchain data.

Furthermore, OP Succinct ensures affordable ZK integration. Developers utilizing Optimism through OP Succinct will only face a proving cost of 0.5 cents per transaction, significantly lower than the average 5.4 cents on Optimism. This substantial cost reduction and ongoing optimizations are anticipated to decrease expenses by up to 10 times, making OP Succinct a highly attractive choice for developers.

Seamless Integration with Rollups: Deploy with Rust support in one contract.

Developers will enjoy a smooth migration process with OP Succinct. The transition involves deploying just one smart contract and setting up a straightforward proposer service, leaving the rest of the OP Stack unaffected. Additionally, OP Succinct’s compatibility with Rust offers extensive customization options, simplifying the task of maintaining and enhancing roll-up applications for developers.

This partnership is dedicated to promoting the adoption of rollups within the Optimism ecosystem by offering a faster, more efficient, and cost-effective solution. AltLayer is committed to delivering these advancements to its RaaS users, ensuring they benefit from OP Succinct’s optimized performance, personalized experience, and streamlined integration process.
