Blockchair has just announced the launch of its Stacks Explorer, expanding its commitment to providing thorough blockchain analytics.

This latest integration brings Blockchair’s robust search and analytics tools to the Stacks ecosystem, a prominent Bitcoin Layer 2 (L2) solution, and includes full support for sBTC, a 1:1 programmable Bitcoin asset introduced on the Stacks mainnet in December 2024.

The Stacks Explorer offers in-depth insights into on-chain activities such as transactions, addresses, smart contracts, and token data, making it easier for developers, researchers, and everyday users to engage with the network.

“At Blockchair, our aim is to be the most powerful and versatile Bitcoin explorer available, and that mission would not be complete without embracing emerging Layer 2 solutions,” stated Nikita Zhavoronkov, CEO and Lead Developer at Blockchair.

Stacks has played a vital role in expanding Bitcoin’s capabilities, making the launch of our Stacks Explorer a natural progression in reinforcing the broader Bitcoin ecosystem. We are thrilled to bring our advanced search and analytics tools to Stacks users and developers, making on-chain data more accessible and driving further innovation.”

Key features of the Stacks Explorer

  • Advanced search & analytics – users can delve into transactions, addresses, and smart contracts with detailed filtering options.
  • Developer & user-friendly tools – provides access to LLM API, JSON API, WebSocket API, Clickhouse API, data dumps, interactive charts, AI Assistant support, Smart-Search, PDF receipts, and wallet statements.
  • Comprehensive address & token insights – delivers a comprehensive overview of Stacks-native assets and full support for sBTC transactions and holdings.
  • Full support for the Nakamoto Upgrade – ensures alignment with Stacks’ latest advancements, including the 100% Bitcoin finality feature.
  • Privacy-focused experience – Blockchair maintains a tracker-free experience, prioritizing user privacy.

By offering a dedicated explorer on Blockchair with enhanced search capabilities, Blockchair is aiding in the evolution of Bitcoin’s programmability.

The explorer equips developers with superior tools for dApp and smart contract development, enabling DeFi participants to effectively monitor Stacks-based solutions.

Blockchair’s backing of sBTC is anticipated to further stimulate innovation and adoption within the Bitcoin ecosystem.

The Stacks Explorer is now accessible, providing users with an up-to-date, comprehensive outlook on the Stacks ecosystem and its sBTC integration.
