Brazil’s state-owned postal service, Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos, has initiated a pre-selection process for companies and experts in blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI) to create innovative solutions for its logistics and operational management.
The tender, which was announced in the official journal Diário Oficial da União, aims to solicit proposals that will facilitate the digital transformation of the agency’s services. Known as Licitação Seleção Prévia e Diálogo nº 25000001/2025 CS, this initiative is focused on identifying cutting-edge technological solutions to streamline business processes, operations, and internal supply management.
“We are committed to fostering a collaborative and agile process to discover artificial intelligence and blockchain solutions for our business, operations, and recruitment challenges,” stated the company.
Although the specific use cases were not disclosed, blockchain technology is commonly used for tracking supply chains, authenticating documents, and ensuring transaction security. The incorporation of artificial intelligence is likely aimed at optimizing logistics and enhancing data analysis.
