Colombia’s stocks closed higher on Friday, driven by gains in the , and sectors.

Leading the session were Grupo Argos SA (BVC:), climbing 2.84% to 18,080.00, Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (BVC:) rising 1.82% to 29,020.00, and Banco De Bogota SA (BVC:) increasing by 1.62% to 27,660.00.
On the flip side, Bancolombia SA (BVC:) was the biggest loser, dropping 1.67% to 35,400.00, followed by Organizacion Terpel SA (BVC:) declining 1.38% to 10,000.00, and Bancolombia Pf (BVC:) down 0.49% to 32,740.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery rose by 1.15% to $254.95, US cocoa for December delivery increased by 0.26% to $7,048.00, and December Gold Futures contract fell by 0.22% to $2,673.35 per troy ounce.
USD/COP dropped by 0.47% to 4,168.86, while BRL/COP fell by 0.09% to 764.09.
The US Dollar Index Futures rose by 0.48% to 102.24.
