Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.17%

Colombia stocks experienced a decline in value at the close of trading on Monday, with sectors such as [sector1], [sector2], and [sector3] leading the downward trend.

By the end of the trading session, the [stock_exchange_name] saw a decrease of 0.17%.

Notable gainers during the session included Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:) with a 9.85% increase, trading at 11,600.00 at closing. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (BVC:) also performed well, adding 4.84% to reach 9,960.00, while Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (BVC:) saw a 2.74% increase, closing at 15,000.00.

On the other hand, Bancolombia SA (BVC:) experienced a 2.01% decline, trading at 38,000.00 by the end of the day. Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:) and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:) also saw decreases of 1.23% and 1.20% respectively.

During the trading session, declining stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange.

Cementos Argos Pf (BVC:) reached all-time highs with a 9.85% increase to 11,600.00.

In commodity trading, US coffee C for March delivery dropped by 1.19% to $318.80. Meanwhile, US cocoa for March delivery rose by 11.03% to $11,241.00, and the February Gold Futures contract fell by 0.39% to $2,621.64 per troy ounce.

USD/COP rose by 0.15% to 4,404.92, while BRL/COP increased by 0.26% to 712.99.

The US Dollar Index Futures showed a 0.08% increase, reaching 107.88.
