The newest Delta Sky Club in Concourse D at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport has a cozy Southern vibe that avoids being overly kitschy. It features a mix of old and new decor, with decorative china plates and a gallery wall alongside modern pieces like a stylized mosaic and surrealist prints. The lounge has about 500 seats, significantly more than the previous lounges in Concourse D.
I had the opportunity to visit the lounge before its public opening on April 8, 2025. The lounge is located near the escalators to the Plane Train in the center of Concourse D, with easy access from the main level. It replaces the two previous Delta Sky Clubs in the concourse.
Access to Delta Sky Clubs is available to cardholders with Delta Sky Club access, such as The Platinum Card® from American Express, The Business Platinum Card® from American Express, Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card, and Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card. Each card offers different benefits, including a certain number of complimentary visits and unlimited access after meeting spending requirements.
The lounge offers an open-concept layout with private areas, providing a comfortable and inviting space to relax before a flight. There are various seating areas, including partially enclosed chairs for added privacy. The lounge also features a large screen for entertainment, although playing audio is limited to avoid disturbing other guests.
Food options at the lounge include a buffet with both cold and hot items, as well as specialty food stations with items like risotto, lobster mac and cheese, and tomahawk steak. The full bar offers complimentary well drinks, wine, and beer, with premium options available for purchase. Nonalcoholic drink stations provide coffee, tea, soft drinks, and flavored water.
The bathrooms in the lounge have a sleek, modern design, and the stalls are spacious enough for changing clothes if needed. Overall, the new Delta Sky Club offers a comfortable and stylish space for travelers to unwind before their flight.
