HashKey Chain Teams Up with GF Securities to Introduce Hong Kong’s First On-Chain Corporate Note

As part of the partnership with GF Securities, HashKey Chain has successfully issued and deployed Hong Kong’s first tokenized corporate note. This unsecured senior U.S. dollar fixed-rate note is backed by guarantees from Coastal Emerald Limited and Shandong Hi-Speed Holdings Limited. GF Securities (Hong Kong) Brokerage Limited plays multiple key roles, including placement agent, arranger, coordinator, custodian for exclusive tokenized securities, and blockchain agent.

What Does the Partnership Mean for Developers?

The issuance size reached $40M, making it a significant launch in terms of market importance and scale. According to HashKey Chain, the successful issuance of corporate notes on-chain demonstrates the potential of integrating blockchain with traditional financial systems while reducing reliance on intermediaries. It also paves the way for on-chain financial products, enabling developers to create platforms and tools that seamlessly interact with real-world assets, driving blockchain adoption in mainstream finance.
