The Fold Bitcoin card, issued by Celtic Bank, is set to launch in late 2025. This card comes with no annual fee and offers a flat 2% cash back in Bitcoin on all purchases. However, cardholders have the opportunity to earn up to 10% back at select merchants like Amazon, Target, and Home Depot.

For even greater rewards, cardholders can opt for a Fold+ subscription, which offers retailer-specific offers with reward rates as high as 20% back. With Fold+, members can also earn an extra 1.5% back when paying their card balance from a Fold Checking Account. The Fold+ subscription costs $100 per year or $8.33 per month.

It’s worth noting that while rewards are in Bitcoin, they can be converted into cash, statement credit, or gift cards. There is no minimum redemption amount, and rewards never expire.

The Fold Bitcoin card joins the recent wave of crypto credit card launches, joining the ranks of Crypto.com and Coinbase.
