A marketplace for non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Solana (SOL) smart contract platform is experiencing a decline after receiving support from the largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume.
Binance has announced the addition of the NFT ecosystem Doodles (DOOD) to Binance Alpha, a platform within the Binance wallet that showcases early-stage digital assets and offers futures contracts for them.
“Binance is pleased to announce that Doodles (DOOD) will be available for trading on Binance Alpha starting at 13:00 (UTC) on May 9, 2025. Additionally, Binance Futures will introduce the DOODUSDT Perpetual Contract with up to 50x leverage at 13:30 (UTC) on the same day.”
Despite the announcement, the price of DOOD plummeted from $0.00807 to $0.00686, marking a 12.8% decrease in the last 24 hours.
Doodles is a collection of 10,000 unique NFTs created by the artist Burnt Toast in 2021. The project has expanded into storytelling and gaming, offering users the opportunity to create and customize their own avatars, connect with a global community, and access exclusive content.
Last year, Doodles collaborated with artists Lil Wayne, Lil Yachty, and Pharrell Williams to release a music video in the brand’s distinctive art style.
